Comments We Love

- Stay on topic: keep your comments relevant to the original post or article.

- Use your real name: consistent, verified identities keep the community accountable and trustworthy.
Comments We Remove
- Spam & promotion: purely promotional comments or excessive link-dropping get deleted.
- Profanity & offensive language: hateful, abusive, threatening, racist, sexist, or discriminatory comments are not tolerated.
- Personal attacks & harassment: criticize ideas, not people — repeat offenders are banned.
- Private information: never post phone numbers, addresses, or email addresses — yours or anyone else’s.

- Stay on Topic: Ensure your comments are relevant to the original post or article.
- Add Value: Contribute meaningful insights, experiences, or questions that further the conversation.
Prohibited Content
What gets a comment edited or deleted.
We reserve the right to edit or delete comments that violate our community standards. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:
- Spam and Promotion: Comments that are solely promotional in nature, including advertisements for unrelated products or services, will be deleted. While you may include a link to relevant content if it adds value to the discussion, excessive linking or link-dropping is not permitted.
- Profanity and Obscenity: Comments containing profane language, obscenities, or vulgarity will be removed.
- Offensive Language: We do not tolerate language that is hateful, abusive, threatening, pornographic, racist, sexist, or discriminatory. Comments that incite violence or promote illegal activities will be deleted immediately.
- Personal Attacks: Do not attack, insult, or harass other commenters, authors, or individuals mentioned in the article. Criticize ideas, not people.
- Harassment: Continued harassment of other community members will result in a ban from commenting.
- Misleading or Libelous Information: Posting false information or libelous statements about individuals or organizations is prohibited.
- Privacy Violations: Do not post personal information (phone numbers, addresses, email addresses) of yourself or others.

Identity and Anonymity
Real people, real accountability.
We do not accept anonymous comments. To maintain accountability and trust within the community:
- You must use your real name or a consistent, verified pseudonym/username.
- You must be logged into your Nursester account to comment.
- Comments posted using generic handles (e.g., “Guest,” “Admin”) or without valid identification will be deleted.
Moderation Rights
Edit, delete, ban — how moderation works.
The moderators of Nursester reserve the right to:
- Edit: We may edit comments for clarity or length, though we rarely do so.
- Delete: We will delete comments that violate this policy without prior notice.
- Ban: We reserve the right to ban users who repeatedly or severely violate these guidelines from commenting.
